Arc Flash Labels

Arc Flash Safety Labels are an important component in preventing arc flash hazards. NFPA 70E sets requirements for labelling of potential electrical arc flashes, for any equipment that may be serviced, examined, adjusted, or maintained while energized.

Our Arc Flash Hazard labels are formatted to either the ANSI Z535 or  ISO 3864 standard. The ANSI Z535 format combines a signal word, word message and optionally a pictorial panel. The graphic only approach communicates the safety label's message quickly and without the use of words. This is the preferred format in the European community due to the concentration of diverse languages.
